The Neon City Garrison is a division of the 501st Stormtrooper Legion. The Legion began in 1997 and now includes over 4000 members in 30 countries. Appearances are often for charity and always at no charge.

First conceived as the Neon Squad in 1999, the Las Vegas group reached the requisite membership count and was awarded garrison status in August, 2001. A group that began with less than 5 members now boasts 30. We are continuing to grow and now include members in Laughlin and Pahrump. In keeping with the spirit of the 501st, the Neon City Garrison works with local Las Vegas charities such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and events like Nevada Reading Week.

Our members come from all walks of life and share a passion for Star Wars. Upon first seeing Star Wars, many of us dreamed of wearing the gleaming white armor of the Imperial Stormtroopers. Our dreams have come true and we're returning the favor for children of all ages, one at a time.
